
This week we’ve focused on the no-tax-increase bond issue that the Kennett School District has placed on the April ballot. The proposed $3.25 million dollar bond issue is intended to fund security upgrades, a facelift for the KCTC, and roof repairs. But doesn’t the school district have enough money for these project already? No, according to Superintendent Dr. Richie Leeker.
The money for these projects must come from capital improvements.
