A pickup ran off CR 551 just south of Kennett last night and struck a tree, injuring the driver and a passenger. According to Troop E, the 19 year old driver was seriously injured and taken by Survival Flight to a Cape Girardeau hospital. The 17 year old passenger received minor injuries and was also taken to Cape for treatment.
The crash happened at 9 p.m.
