It’ll probably take a while for it to catch on with us, but City Light Gas and Water is in the final stages of officially changing its name to what the governing body has been called for years – The Kennett Board of Public Works.
According to a news release, the change was made to rebrand to better reflect the utility’s evolving identity.
Customers will notice the updated logo on vehicles, equipment, uniforms, and social media. The office building will soon display the new name and logo, and in coming months there will be a new an improved website – kbpw.net.
