CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO – Nearly 200 prospective students and families got the first look at Southeast Missouri State University’s latest Copper Dome Scholarship program during the Summer Showcase earlier this month. The program offers scholarships for which 70 percent of students are eligible.

Lenell Hahn, director of Admissions, says Scholarships are available based on a student’s stackable ACT/SAT superscore, and some scholarships are available without taking an ACT/SAT at all.

The scholarships are also progressive, meaning they grow in value each year a student is eligible, a feature somewhat unique. Hahn says the event also showcased Southeast’s new One Rate Nationwide approach for all U.S. domestic students, meaning those students will no longer pay out of state tuition.

Missouri residents heard about the University’s Will to Do Award which offers beginning freshmen from Missouri who are Pell Grant eligible with a 2.75 GPA $0 in tuition. The Award will cover the gap between the amount of their Pell Grant and their tuition and general fees.
