According to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department, the body of a missing Sikeston man was recovered in St. John’s Bayou, near County Road 806. A news release states an autopsy identified the victim was Tim Hale of Sikeston, who was reported missing in February. A local fisherman discovered the body Sunday.
Pending toxicology results, the cause of death is undetermined, however, no signs of trauma were discovered.
