At last night’s Kennett City Council meeting landlords voiced their opposition to a new inspection ordinance that went into effect at the first of the year. An attorney representing the Kennett Landlords Association, Wendell Hoskins, said the ordinance was at odds with the goals everyone had – safety and affordable housing.

The Council took no action last night on the landlords’ concerns.
