Have you gotten a text message saying you owe a toll fee? I have – two in the last week or so. Here’s a reminder from the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office that those posing as a toll service provider are just trying to steal your personal information and trick you into making fake payments.
There’s also a warning on the MoDOT website about this scam. There are no toll roads in Arkansas or Missouri.
