At last word, authorities were still looking for an inmate who escaped custody early Sunday. Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder said that Dwayne Woods escaped after he was taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Woods was being held at the DCJC for failure to appear on several charges, including burglary, stealing, assault, robbery and armed criminal action.
