The Malden Green Wave baseball team has advanced to the Class 3 state finals following their 9-3 win over Holden yesterday.
The State Championship game will see the Green Wave matched against the Strafford Indians.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 pm this afternoon in O’Fallon. In Class 1, the Oran Eagles state semifinal match-up against Green City will also be played this afternoon in O’Fallon. First pitch for that game is scheduled for 4 pm.
